China hosts World Cup until 2018

players.World number one Woods has not played since 2001 while Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk, Ernie Els and Retief Goosen all missed the 2006 event in Barbados.Germany’s Marcel Siem and Bernhard Langer won last year, beating Scottish duo Colin Montgomerie and Marc Warren in a play-off.This year’s event will be played from 22-25 November on the Olazabal Course, designed by Spanish player Jose Maria Olazabal.The three remaining WGC tournaments this year will all be held in the United States.The WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship takes place in Arizona, the WGC-CA Championship in Miami and the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational in Akron, Ohio.
